MY WHITE SOX def. Baltimore 8-3. Gavin Floyd (CHW) got his 14th win of the year (14-6).
Cleveland def. Detroit 10-4. Cliff Lee (Cle) got his 19th win of the season (19-2). Ben Francisco (Cle) hit two homers (13,14).
Boston def. The Yankees 7-3. Johnny Damon (NYY) hit two homers (10,11). Jonathan Papelbon (Bos) got his 34th save of the year.
Toronto def. Tampa Bay 6-2. Roy Halladay (Tor) got his 16th win of the year (16-9).

Michael Strahan has announced that he WILL NOT come out of retirement to play for MY GIANTS this year.
Jacksonville Jaguars 1st round pick, Derrick Harvey has ended his 33 day holdout and has signed a 5 year $30,000,000 contract!

National Basketball Association

Pro Wrestling
This past Friday’s Smaccdown drew a 2.1 rating, which is down from last weeks 2.4 rating.
John Cena underwent surgery today. Expected to be out 2-4 months.
This past Monday Night Raw drew a 2.8 rating on Sci-Fi this week.
We got some TNA Impact TAPINGS to report…
The following took place on Tuesday in Orlando, FL
.TNA Impact Tapings for September 4 & September 11:
- Kurt Angle and Booker T cut promos in the ring, agreeing with Sting's comments from last week. They invited Christian to join them in taking out Jeff Jarrett. Christian Cage came out and said no. Angle and Booker T beat down Cage until AJ Styles ran down for the save.
- Consequences Creed defeated Sheik Abdul Bashir. The referee kicked Bashir and they brawled after the match.
- Sting came out and said he was surprised he wasn't getting any boo's after what he said last week. Samoa Joe came out and tried to attack Sting, but Kevin Nash stopped him. Sting then took out Joe with a Scorpion Deathdrop.
- Christian Cage defeated AJ Styles to qualify for the "Four Ways to Glory" match at No Surrender. Frank Trigg hit Styles with a kendo stick to setup the finish.
- Awesome Kong defeated Roxxi. After the match, ODB and Kong brawled.
- Sting came out and called out Jeff Jarrett. Samoa Joe then appeared up in the rafters and said Jeff Jarrett would be at No Surrender. Jarrett's music hit and he appeared at the top of the entrance ramp as the crowd gave him a huge reaction.
- Christian Cage vs. Abyss ended in a No Contest when Team 3D, Booker T and Kurt Angle all interfered. Matt Morgan ran down for the save.
- AJ Styles challenged Frank Trigg to a match at No Surrender and Trigg accepted.
- TNA Knockouts Champion Taylor Wilde won the first ever Beautiful People Beauty Pageant. Super Eric, Shark Boy and Curry Man were the judges.
- Kurt Angle & Booker T defeated Abyss & Matt Morgan when Team 3D interfered.

Personal Notes
I just made it through my first regular season on Madden ’09 on Superstar mode….15-1 record. I wasn’t starting in week one and I let the CPU control all plays that doesn’t involve me.
God, I wanna drink.
Looks like I might be headed bacc 2 tha work force.
