Im not sure how it will turn out, but if any of you out there got any feedbacc or experience with this kinda shit...PLEASE RESPOND and let me know tha ins and outs...feel me?

Sports Report 8/2

8/1/08
Sup yall, you already know its time to see what went down in sports on Friday, 8/1/08…Of course on the last day of July we had a pretty big day when it comes to the baseball trades. Today, there isn’t quite as much going on, but there is a little bit…

BASEBALL
After a big day yesterday in baseball, this wasn’t as big unless you consider BASEBALL games a big deal…lol…We got the debut of Manny Ramirez as a Dodger…He was 2-4 in his first game in LA as the Dodgers lost to Arizona 2-1 to drop to 3 games behind Arizona in the NL West. Ken Griffey Jr. made his debut for the White Sox in a 4-2 win over Kansas City. Griffey was 2-3 with a run and 2 runs batted in. It was a great start for Griffey with my White Sox. Another debut was Boston’s Jason Bay, who was part of the Manny deal…He was 1-3 with 2 runs scored in a 2-1 win over Oakland. The rest of the scores from Friday are… Pittsburgh 3 Cubs 0, Angels 1 Yankees 0, Colorado 5 Florida 2, Tampa Bay 5 Detroit 2, Milwaukee 9 Atlanta 0, Texas 9 Toronto 8, Washington 5 Cincinnati 2, Houston 7 Mets 3, Minnesota 4 Cleveland 1, Baltimore 10 Seattle 5, St. Louis 6 Philadelphia 3, and San Francisco 3 San Diego 2.

BASKETBALL
Apparently, new Houston Rockets small forward, Ron Artest has spoken to Yao Ming on the phone and settled their original differences about the previous brawl four years ago. On Friday, in Olympic exhibition ball, The USA team defeated Lithuania 120-84. Dwayne Wade led the way with 19 points. Not mentioned in yesterday’s blog was Thursday’s 114-82 victory over Turkey. Lebron James led the way there with 20 points. I have to admit that it does look like the USA is finally gonna get their shit together and win some Olympic gold when it comes to basketball. They need to KEEP doin it like this if they EVER want any mention in the same sentence as “dream team”

FOOTBALL
Brett Favre is apparently considering the Packers offer of $20,000,000 over 10 years to stay retired…I WOULD TOO…lol. Also, during training camp, Carolina Panthers star receiver Steve Smith hit teammate, Ken Lucas, and then just went home…that’s funny shit!

PRO WRESTLING
Friday Night Smaccdown
8/1/08-Hershey, PA
1. MVP def. Jimmy Wang Yang (after match, Jeff Hardy told MVP to never speak on his personal life again and then gave him the twist of fate)
2. Mr. Kennedy def. Shelton Benjamin
3. Brian Kendrick def. Stevie Richards
4. The Great Khali def. Jeff Hardy (MVP interfered)
5. Maria def. Victoria
6. Big Show def. Domino
7. The Cutting Edge w/ Edge and Mick Foley: Edge asked Foley for his help for the upcoming hell in a cell match with the undertaker. Foley refused and Edge attacked him.
8. BONUS MATCH AFTER SHOW: Big Show def. Edge via Countout!

My thoughts: Smaccdown didn’t really perform well tonight. I know some of yall wanna know how I got the BONUS MATCH in this report…well…Im an internet mutha fucca, so I GOT ALL THA GOODS. LoL. I still believe that RAW is the best of the two shows. I just thought that with Triple H and JR going to smaccdown that it would be better than this. ITS NOT. NO MAIN EVENT? Was the Big Show vs Domino the main event? Remember…Big Show vs Edge was NOT on TV!!! So, what the fucc were they thinking? Dumb asses.

Can Drinking Ruin my Life?

I am sitting here right now and it is 3:33pm...Am I drunk? No. Will I be again tonight? YES.

I can honestly say that I dont know another human being on earth that drinks as much as I do. Do I drink too much? YEP. Can it or has it ruined my life? YEP. Will I eva stop it? NO.

Why is that?

How can a human being look at the same thing EVERYDAY knowing that it holds them bacc from everything that they are destined or wants to do and still do it? Thats really the million dolla question. I dont have the answer to that question...I just know the question and ANSWER truly exist.

I was just talkin...Im out.

THE BECOMING OF A FAMILY MAN!

Life sometimes brings some interesting shit in ya face if ya really sit and think about it.

I know there is alot of yall out there that dont know alot about me, but let me be tha first one to tell you that my childhood and young adult hood was not the most proper...lol...Some of yall know that growin up I became involved wit gangs, drugs, and guns. Now at the age of 27, I believe that I have transferred my life into something that no one ever thought I would...

A FAMILY MAN...

That transition has been very difficult, yet very easy at the same time.

Let me explain...When you make a transition of that magnitude, it causes you to end certain ways about yourself that you never imagined that you could. That is tha truth. For instance, I had a son born in 2003; Isaiah Kane. I hated his mother to tha fullest extent because she was a ho and I knew it. She was not willing to grow up no matter how much I made her. In 2004, that relationship ended and I was told that I could ONLY see my son if I was sexually intimate with her. Now, at tha time I was single, so I was like "fucc it"...I did what I had to to see my son and get paid at tha same time. Now, obviously that wouldnt really work once I got into another series relationship. Unfortunatly, due to my NON-WILLINGNESS to comply with that rule any more, I was forced to whip her ass and call it a day. I havent seen my son since. I believe that was EARLY 2005.

Throughout time, there was a bitch here...a bitch there...then came the BIG RELATIONSHIP again with my current woman. I will not speak of her here out of respect for HER PRIVACY, but I will give an outline of tha situation...She has 5 children from a previous long marriage. Most of yall know I dont play that "babby daddy bein around" shit, so I eliminated that shit IMMEDIATLY. (Kinda...i will explain another time about that one)...In tha beginning, I didnt think that I would become tha "daddy" figure NOR "husband" figure that I now strive to be each and every day. Throughout time, it just kinda happened...lol...In tha beginning, I didnt really know how to raise FIVE KIDS...Yea, I had been there for my own son and even occasionally other bitches children. Howeva, this one was different...there became more emotion involved than I could eva expect there to be. I ACTUALLY LOVED ALL SIX OF THEM.

I aint neva loved mutha fuccaz before. I was a mutha fuccin PIMP befo this shit...Now...

Now...I cook meals and give medicines and watch bullshit ass cartoons and shit. What tha fucc happened? Well, the answer is simple...its that change that I originally mentioned in tha beginning of this blog. Somehow my love for them caused me to love myself less. There is nothing wrong with that. It just put my own ranking down a couple of notches. Feel me? When you got SIX other mutha fuccaz depending on ya, its kinda hard to do some of tha same irresponsible shit. When I was locced up THREE times, tha only one that cared was my girl and her kids.

It made me look at EVERYTHANG...my blue rag...my beer...my pimpin...and it made me put it into perspective...Now, I will admit that there are really only 3 things that I have given up for this relationship and fatherhood. Those are 1) Bitches 2) Music 3) Hangin Out all night...At first, those were some hard things to give up since I am a man. I know you women may not understand, but it makes a man feel like he has become Cpt. Save a Ho. No, my woman is NOT a ho, but it still makes a man think of that name. Every argument, every disagreement always sends me bacc to tha same thought process, which is tha thought that I gave too much up. Howeva, every smile I see after that makes me feel like it is ALL WORTH IT and a good thang that I have neva left for good. (I have however left THREE times).

I guess Im just rambling about shit, but sometimes I sit bacc and think about the sacrifices and see all tha lonelyness out there by so many of you and I feel GREATFUL that I am KING JB. I feel greatful that I have what I have. I feel greatful that I have my family, even if it did cost me in tha end. EVERYTHING HAS A PRICE...NOTHING IS FREE.

I could go on for hours about this right now, but these kids are fuccin up right now and I gotta go whip some ass...lol...Holla at yall later.

Sports Report for 7/31/08

8/1/08

Aight, Ima start off by saying that my personal baseball piccs from yesterdays action left me with a win-loss record of 5-4. My piccs for the week so far are 32-28 - 53% after posting a 5-9 record on Monday, a 7-8 record on Tuesday, and a 11-4 record on Wednesday to add to my Thursday record of 5-4.

As many of you already know, my White Sox got Ken Griffey Jr. in a trade from the Cincinatti Reds yesterday, which should DEFINATLY help out in the race to achieve the World Series crown for 2008. In other baseball action, it was a slow Thursday with only 9 games on the slate. It does look like Manny Ramirez will REMAIN a Boston RedSox, which if you read my previous blog, you know my opinion on what that does to the AL East and Wild Card scenarios for September. In games that matter from yesterday, The Detroit Tigers lost to Cleveland 9-4 pushing them even FARTHER behind the White Sox to 6 games. Of course, the game of the day with the most importance was the Chicago Cubs and Milwaukee Brewers playing in Milwaukee. The Cubs jumped off to a HUGE lead 5-0 by TWO Jim Edmonds Home Runs! (YES, I said old ass Jim Edmonds…one was a grand slam…he only has 13 for entire season) The final score was 11-4 and the Cubs were able to go up 5 games on Milwaukee in the NL Central. HUGE UPDATE @ 4:49pm!!! MANNY RAMIREZ was traded to the LOS ANGELES DODGERS!!!! Boston ended up getting Jason Bay as part of a three team trade with the Pirates! Oh shit, that was a surprise. Looks like Boston isn’t QUITE as fucced since they got Bay in return, but loosin Manny is still HUGE! Now, with Manny Ramirez going to the Dodgers, it does change my opinion of the NL West. My previous prediction was that Arizona would win that division. My opinion and prediction is now that the Los Angeles Dodgers WILL win the NL West. YES, one player makes that much difference when that player is Manny Ramirez. Bacc to the action, My Chicago White Sox lost to Minnesota yesterday 10-6 to drop the White Sox to 60-47 and their lead over Minnesota to a very small ½ game over Minnesota in the Central Division. The Angels beat the Yankees 12-6. Atlanta beat St. Louis 9-4. Seattle beat Texas 8-5. Philadelphia beat Washington 8-4. Florida beat Colorado 12-2, and Arizona beat the Dodgers 2-1 to raise their lead in that division over the Dodgers to 2 games. In that game, Brandon Webb won his 15th game to go to 15-4.

In NBA news, many of you should know by now that Ron Artest is now a HOUSTON ROCCETT!!! Yao Ming, Artest, and Tracy McGrady should be a great BIG THREE for Houston…The West just got a lot more interesting. Oh yea, I forgot to mention that there is ALREADY a war of words between Ron Artest and Yao Ming. Ron feels disrespected ALREADY…lol. Of course, if ya didn’t know, former NBA referee, Tim Donaghy was sentenced to 15 months in prison for his role in fixing games and betting on basketball. LOL! What a succa!

In the NFL, The Tennessee Titans brought in QB Byron Leftwich for workouts. Leftwich obviously hopes to get the opportunity to backup Vince Young. Also, Safety John Lynch has now left the Denver Broncos, adding to their off-season losses. Brett Favre was offered $20,000,000 over 10 years to STAY RETIRED. God Damn, Green Bay doesn’t want him to go anywhere else. In my opinion, if Brett wants to play, he DESERVES the right to play. If they don’t want him to be their starting QB, then FUCC EM.

So far there were no PRO-Wrestling news other than last nights TNA Impact! Results. So, here we go with the Results…
TNA Impact!
7/31/08-Orlando, FL
1. Beer Money Inc. def. Christian Cage and Rhino to earn a shot at the TNA Tag Team Championship at the next PPV vs LAX. After the match, Cage and Rhino challenged Team 3D at the same PPV. Yes, for those of yall that don’t know, Team 3D is the Dudley Boys.

2. Jay Lethal, Shark Boy, and Curry Man def. Johnny Devine and The Rocc N Rave Connection. After the match, Lethal tried to propose to Val again, but she said she lost her ring again and Lethal got upset and walked off.

3. Booker T comes out to the ring and wants to give Samoa Joe a tour of the Six Sides of Steel. Joe comes out and they begin to brawl. A bat is dropped from the rafters and Booker hits Joe with it. AJ Styles comes out to check on Joe and then gets on the mic demanding Sting show himself. Sting's music plays, but Kurt Angle comes out and takes out Styles.

4. Consequences Creed def. Petey Williams

5. AJ Styles challenged Kurt Angle to a match at the PPV.

6. Matt Morgan def. Sal Rinauro. After match, Morgan called out Tyson Tomko which led to a brawl in which Morgan layed out Tomko.

7. TNA Women’s Champion, Taylor Wilde and Gail Kim def. The Beautiful People. After match, Awesome Kong took out Wilde and Kim leading to the ODB and Roxxi coming out to chase Kong away.

Not a bad show, not the best one…TNA can be really weak sometimes! The next TNA PPV is called “Hard Justice” and will be on Sunday, August 10th!

The King is a sports fan above ANYTHING...

Aight, I finally got something fresh to talk about. Since Truth is not here today, I dont have to worry about his anti-sports rants as I type this blog. For some reason, that mutha fucca hates sports. He will "say" that he doesnt, but he criticized me once for stayin home to watch the Super Bowl...Yea, he did...lol.

Now, many of yall that know me know that Sports is my first love. It is above music and just about everything else on earth with the exception of my family and beer. I refuse to tell you which is more important between family and beer...lol

So, let me start off by letting you know who my favorite teams are in each of the sports that I watch and I will later talk about Sports Entertainment aka Pro Wrestling.

I am a huge basketball, football, and baseball fan...So, here are the teams...

BASEBALL-Chicago White Sox (I have been a White Sox fan since I started watching baseball. My first memories were watching Frank Thomas aka The Big Hurt put up MVP numbers every year. I got to see the White Sox win their first World Series since they FIXED the 1919 World Series a couple of years ago.

FOOTBALL- My favorite Pro Team is the New York Giants. I became a Giant's fan bacc in 1990 when they beat the Buffalo Bills in the Super Bowl. I have been following and rooting for them ever since. I have had the pleasure of watching them in 3 Super Bowls with them winning 2 of them. (1990,2000,2008) My favorite College Team has always been Notre Dame Fighting Irish. My Grandfather liked Notre Dame and got me hooked as a child. Im a huge Joe Montana fan, so it kinda happened from there.

BASKETBALL - My favorite pro team has ALWAYS been the Chicago Bulls since I was a child. Of course many of you know I had alot of successful years during the Michael Jordan years seeing 6 NBA Championships. Ever since his retirement, things have been kinda ugly for us TRUE BULLS FANS, but I believe they have the best YOUNG team in the league now. My favorite college basketball team kinda happened the same as my college football team. My liking of Joe Montana made me a Notre Dame fan in football and when it comes to college basketball, my liking of Michael Jordan as a kid led me to North Carolina. I have been a Carolina fan FOREVER and have seen many greats go through the program bringing me a few national championships.

PRO WRESTLING- Now, I know this isnt a sport, but it is sports entertainment and takes alot of athleticism to do. I have ALWAYS been a huge wrestling fan and watch it several times per week. I will also talk about pro wrestling alot, so you might as well get used to that shit too when I do a "sports blog". I have always liked "the bad guys" and therfore have recieved ALOT of heat when it comes to pro wrestling. (Especially from my brother/cousin, Shawn).

I pay attention to all sports, so occasionally I will speak of them...I do not really have favorites when it comes to the other sports however. Of course, I will always speak the truth and not always be biased to my own favorites.

NEWS UPDATE!!!!! KEN GRIFFFEY JR. was just traded to my Chicago White Sox before the trade deadline for a couple of NO BODYS!!!! YEAAA!!!! Griffey Jr was traded at 12:02pm to the White Sox for pitcher Nick Massett and Infielder Danny Richar!!! YEAA!!!!!! Looks like I got another World Series Title coming this year. Especially if Boston trades Manny Ramirez today like everyone believes they will!
____________________________________________________________________________________
Now, here are my team by team updates on my favorites...
Since Baseball is the only sport in the middle of the season, I will start there...
___________________________________________________________________
CHICAGO WHITE SOX
As of right now, out of the 162 game regular season, my White Sox are in 1st place in the AL Central Division with a record of 60-46 after 106 games played. With 56 games left, they lead the Minnesota Twins by 1 1/2 games. The Detroit Tigers are 3rd in that division at 5 1/2 games behind my White Sox. Of course, the media are always bashing manager Ozzie Guillen for his cursing on camera and crazy ways of dealing with players and the media. However, Ozzie once again has the White Sox looking like World Series contenders; especially with the addition of soon-to-be Hall of Famer, Ken Griffey Jr. The White Sox lineup has been pretty solid all season of course, as has their pitching staff. Their leading hitter this season at this point is Jermaine Dye with a .311 average. Newcomer Carlos Quinten pretty much leads in every other offensive category with 28 home runs, 83 runs batted in, and 75 runs scored. On the pitching side of things, Gavin Lloyd leads the team in wins with 11 so far this season. John Danks leads the ERA numbers with an ERA of 3.18 and Javier Vasquez leads in strikeouts with 130. It should be an interesting finish to this season leading up to September and of course October, when the World Series will be played. I predict that my White Sox WILL finish off with the division win and make the playoffs. My other predictions for baseball is as follows...I believe that in the AL East, the New York Yankees will come back from their current 5 games behind Tampa Bay to take over the division ONLY if Boston trades Manny Ramirez. If Boston KEEPS Ramirez, I believe Boston WILL win the division. Remember my ifs on that prediction. In the AL West, The Los Angeles Angels will run away with that division EASILY. So, that leaves the wildcard in the AL to picc...I believe that who ever DOES NOT win the division between the Yankees and RedSox in the AL East, will be the AL Wildcard. So, the playoffs in the AL will include Boston, Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles. I believe that the AL team that will make the World Series is...YOU GOT IT....MY CHICAGO WHITE SOX. Now, onto the National League...The NL East is a difficult decision to pick, but my picc is without a doubt the Philadelphia Phillies. Right now, they are only 1/2 game ahead of the New York Mets and 1 1/2 games ahead of the Florida Marlins. I believe that if Florida DOES get Manny Ramirez from Boston, then they will definatly have a shot. However, if they dont, they will fizzle out. So, Im goin with Philadelphia out of the East regardless of any trades. The NL Central will be won by the Chicago Cubs, who are currently 4 games ahead of both Milwaukee Brewers and St. Louis Cardinals. This is definatly the best division in baseball. I believe that the Cubs have the pitching to pull it out. Milwaukee has a shot with the addition of C.C. Sabathia, but I still think the Cubs are playing solid enough to pull it out, especially at home. The NL West is ugly, but I think that Arizona will pull it out in the end behind their pitching and Brandon Webb's Cy Young looking season. Right now, Arizona is only 1 Game ahead of the Los Angeles Dodgers, but I dont think that the Dodgers has what it takes to make the late run. I believe Milwaukee will win the NL Wildcard. I believe they will give the Cubs trouble in the Central, but lose it only to win the wildcard. So, my NL piccs are Chicago, Philadelphia, Milwaukee, and Arizona. I believe that the NL in the playoffs will be between Chicago and Milwaukee. My Picc? I believe that we will finally see a CHICAGO vs CHICAGO World Series...White Sox vs Cubs....My Picc? As much as I would love to say that My White Sox will beat the Cubs, I cant. It is definatly the Cubs turn since this is the 100th anniversary of their last World Series win...Thats right people...1908. They will win this year and never see it again until 2,108. Feel me?
___________________________________________________________________
Now onto my Basketball Team....
___________________________________________________________________
CHICAGO BULLS
Ok, now since this is the off-season, not alot is going on right now. They do have a new Head Coach in former San Antonio Spur, Vinnie DelNegro. That is an odd choice for coach since he has never been a head coach and Avery Johnson was still out there. However, I can give it a chance since I know how Vinnie was as a player. They had the 1st picc in the NBA Draft and they selected Point Guard, Derricc Rose from Memphis. Rose was SOLID in college, but was horrible in the Bulls's Summer League games. I am extrememly upset that Michael Beasley was passed on for this DECENT POINT GUARD. Beasley is gonna be GREAT. Rose is just gonna be decent. The Bulls let baccup point guard Chris Duhon sign with the New York Kniccs this summer and I have to say that I am ok with that choice. However, it looks to me like Derricc Rose will be his BACCUP replacement since I dont think he's good enough to start. Next, they re-signed forward, Luol Deng. VERY GOOD CHOICE. Im glad they didnt let him go, especially since now it is rumored that Ben Gordon may be leaving to go play in Europe. By the way, I PRAY that Gordon does not go play in Europe. I need him with the Bulls. Nothing else is really going on at this point and the season doesnt open for a while. My prediction is that my Bulls WILL make the playoffs next season and atleast make it to the 2nd round. If not, it just once again shows that Bulls management makes more mistakes than Brittany Spears.
___________________________________________________________________
Now, onto Football...My Giants have not had the best offseason after this last Super Bowl win...They did sign a solid baccup QB in David Carr and solid LB Danny Clark. They lost soon-to-be Hall of Famer, Michael Strahan to retirement. They then traded Jeremy Shockey to New Orleans. Not to mention a few more losses from the defensive side of thangs and the ongoing contract issues with Plaxico Burress. Things look very much like they are in turmoil to start this season. But then again, look at how the beginning of last season looked? My prediction? ANOTHER MUTHA FUCCIN SUPER BOWL! YEA!

They begin their Pre-Season on 8/7/08 at the Detroit Lions!
